The grounds

Discover the Château’s outdoor areas for a relaxing stay in Provence

20-acre grounds

Arriving by our north gate, the lions, that are the Tourreau family’s emblem, dominating the imposing grille. You enter the estate via the main avenue lined by Provence cypress trees and the building in the distance, all surrounded by a wooded park. An orchard and a vegetable garden follow in succession and, on the other side of the Château, French gardens give way to an English garden with a fountain at its center surrounded by several bridges, or streams brimming with koi carps and a variety of fishes. 20 acres of grounds with many different plant varieties await you.

Fountains and waterways

Arriving from the Dentelles de Montmirail mountains, the waterway is visible from the entrance to the estate and follows a route through the grounds, via the northern park and under the chapel. It tumbles into the southern park a few meters further along, runs around the southern park and supplies our fountains, finishing its path and setting back off into the vines.

Orchard

Our orchard is the perfect spot for young and old alike, located a few meters from our children's play area and the vegetable garden. You will find several Mediterranean trees, including apricot, pear, fig and apple trees. Ready to go picking?

Vegetable garden and educational farm

A 500-m² vegetable garden tended daily by our gardeners and filled with Provençal vegetables ready for picking: tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, etc. You will find it near our animal area, which is home to a number of chickens and goats to delight the youngest among you. Our boules pitch and children's play area are also located in this area.
